components in the '99 Concorde promise improved handling with no sacrifice
in ride comfort. New interior materials result in a richer look, while
16-inch Medallion alloy wheels are now standard on the Concorde LXi.
History: First introduced in
1993, Concorde is the car that signaled the beginning of Chrysler's resurgenceóa
resurgence that continues today. The original Concorde introduced car buyers
to the term "cab forward," and became well known for the roomy interior
this design affords. The completely redesigned, second-generation Concorde
features much of the styling found in the LHX concept car shown at the
North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 1996. Concorde is
positioned as Chrysler's premium family sedan, featuring six-passenger
seating and a "50-50" split front seat.
